ALL WHO MIGRATE TO AMERICA SHOULD LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH

The new citizens of this country, who came to the United States seeking a better life, should speak its language and practice its customs and ideals. To pepper the area where they reside and shop with signs of Spanish wording is not a gain for the newcomers, because it intensifies their isolation.

Parents who give precedence to the use of Spanish over English are perpetuating a disability on their offspring. They're denying their children a competitive edge in the vein of jobs, education and financial progress. To adopt this country and then reject English is disruptive and distasteful.
