$7 million project: Jeremy M. Jacobs Sr., left, chairman of the University at Buffalo Council, and Sal Alfiero, former chairman of Mark IV Industries, celebrate the dedication of the UB School of Management's Alfiero Center on Tuesday. The $7 million project is adjacent to the Jacobs Management Center on UB's North Campus. It includes academic services and career development offices, along with three high-tech classrooms, space for student clubs, an entrepreneurship suite, and an Internet cafe. Alfiero and his wife, Jeanne, provided the naming gift. It is UB's first academic facility to be funded primarily through private donations.
