TWO MEN, A WOMAN FACE VARIETY OF CHARGES

Two men and a woman arrested in the 400 block of 13th Street early Monday were armed with guns when they threatened to kill a Dudley Avenue man, city police said.

Cornelius D. Brinson, 21, of Falls Street; Tracey Walters, 26, of Ashland Avenue; and Alexander D. Lee, 23, of Fairfield Avenue, all pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to a variety of menacing and felony weapons charges, including criminal possession of a gun that was reported stolen in a 1973 robbery. The three are in Niagara County Jail on $5,000 bail.

Walters was charged with two counts of weapons possession for having loaded 38-caliber and 9 millimeter guns. She told police she bought the guns for protection, reports said.

Lee also was charged with a January felony assault after the Dudley Avenue man told police he was assaulted with a baseball bat five weeks ago.
