JoAnne Molik, of Cheektowaga, died unexpectedly April 20 in a Sarasota, Fla., hospital. She was 68.
Born JoAnne Zielinski, she graduated from Villa Maria High School. She worked in the 1970s as a bank teller for Buffalo Savings Bank.
Mrs. Molik was a parishioner and Eucharistic minister at Fourteen Holy Helpers Catholic Church in West Seneca. She was also in the parish rosary group.
She was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed decorating, cooking, baking and gardening.
She and her husband of 47 years, John, spent several months each year in Sarasota.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Molik is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline Ghosen of Buffalo, Rosemarie of Kenmore and Kathleen Sarazin of Orchard Park; a sister, Lucille Grubka of Titusville, Fla.; two brothers, James Zielinski of Cheektowaga and Jerome Zielinski of West Seneca; and six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9 a.m. Friday in Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1345 Indian Church Road, West Seneca. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
