Services for Carlian Sweet will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 179 E. Ferry St., Buffalo, preceded by a wake at 10.
Mrs. Sweet, 58, of Buffalo, died Thursday in the Erie County Home, Alden, following a lengthy illness.
The former Carlian Babbs was born in Pompano Beach, Fla., and graduated from Gilford High School there. She lived in Western New York for the past 38 years.
She was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church and its choir, and enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors include four daughters, Marion of Atlanta and Sharon Sweet Parmer, Tammy Rollins and Jennifer Rollins, all of Buffalo; her father, John Hammonds of Vero Beach, Fla.; a sister, Bernice Hamm of Buffalo; three brothers, Tommy Babbs and Arthur Babbs, both of Buffalo, and Mark Hammonds of Florida; and two grandchildren.
