Kenneth C. Kiener of Clarence, a former business owner, died of cancer Wednesday in the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Cheektowaga. He was 62.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. Kiener grew up in Clarence and graduated from Clarence High School. He earned an associate's degree in hotel management and culinary arts from Erie Community College.
Over the years, he owned various small businesses, including several restaurants.
He enjoyed camping and fishing.
Survivors include two daughters, Charris L. of Kenmore and Kyle C. of Rhinebeck; two sons, Hans C. of Clarence and Kurt K. of Grand Island; his mother, Alma of Clarence; two brothers, Ronald of Clarence and Dennis of Holiday, Fla.; and three granddaughters.
Services will be private.
