Frank J. Vitagliano, a retired insurance agent, died Thursday in East Side Nursing Home. He was 79.
Mr. Vitagliano owned the Warsaw Agency for 27 years, retiring in 1987.
He was a member of the Warsaw Kiwanis Club, Warsaw Fire Department, Warsaw Rescue Squad -- for which he helped raise money to buy ambulances -- and Warsaw Exempt Volunteer Firemen.
Survivors include a son, Frank J. Jr. of Warsaw; two daughters, Mary Kathryn Johnson of Springfield, Va., and Sue A. Rosier of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Patsy, and a sister, Josephine Caruana, both of Buffalo; and six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Michael's Catholic Church, 171 N. Main St. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
