FATHER CHARGED AFTER INFANT SUFFERS FRACTURED SKULL

The father of a 6-week-old girl whose skull was fractured was arraigned Thursday on charges of assault and endangering the welfare of a child, Depew police reported.

Jeremy Snover, 28, of Depew, was ordered held in the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $25,000 bail.

The girl's mother had called police Tuesday night to report possible abuse.

The infant also suffered bleeding in the brain and a possible neck fracture, police said. She baby was taken to Women and Children's Hospital, where officials said they don't release information about a patient's condition.

Depew police Detectives Jerome Miller and Jason Ostrach and Officer Scott Hoffhines pieced together the case leading to Snover's arrest.
