Alice J. Laurri, a volunteer at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for more than 20 years, died Tuesday in the medical center after a brief illness. She was 81.
Born Alice Dowling in Niagara Falls, she was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
Mrs. Laurri worked in sales at Jenss department store for seven years. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many years.
Mrs. Laurri was a member of Southend Golden Agers.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Joseph of Niagara Falls; two daughters, Patricia DelFavero of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Lucille Harrison of Farmingdale, N.J.; and four grandchildren.
Private services were held. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
