Two Buffalo men who were shot Tuesday night as they sat in their car on East Delavan Avenue were arrested after officers discovered crack cocaine inside their vehicle, police said.
Ramon Frazier, 29, of Wakefield Street, and Marshawn D. Levy, 21, of Weber Avenue, were treated in the emergency room of Erie County Medical Center and released. Police said Frazier was shot in the left thigh, and Levy was hit in the right shoulder.
Frazier, Levy and a third man, Lonnie Graham, 20, of Fisher Street, were charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Northeast District police said the shooting occurred at about 10:15 p.m. while the pair sat in their green Ford Taurus in the 1400 block of East Delavan.
Officers said about six shots were fired at the car and four of them hit it.
Officers responding to the shooting said they found a large plastic bag on the rear seat of the vehicle, containing about an eighth of an ounce of crack cocaine.
