Zach Carr drove in two runs with a single in the fifth inning for the go-ahead runs and Niagara Catholic went on to a 6-4 win over St. Mary's of Lancaster Wednesday in Monsignor Martin Association baseball.

The Patriots had a 3-0 lead but Rick Bittner tied the game with a three-run homer in the bottom of the fourth. Chris Borgatti had two hits and two RBIs for Niagara Catholic (1-2).

In Monsignor Martin softball, Cardinal O'Hara got the tying run to third base in the seventh inning but Mount Mercy (4-2, 1-1 in MMA) held on for a 5-4 victory.

Kristy Sheridan and Meg Quinn had two hits and two RBIs each for the Magic. Winning pitcher Mary Kate Peacock allowed five hits.
