Niagara County Sheriff's Investigator Patrick Cerminara said deputies brought in four men on warrants late Monday and Tuesday, including one man extradited from New Jersey.
Raquan Loyd, 24, was extradited from New Jersey Monday night for allegedly violating conditions of bail. He pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance inn connection with an incident in February 2003 in Niagara Falls.
Cerminara said when Loyd didn't show up for sentencing, the case was referred to the U.S. Marshals and he was apprehended in Patterson County, N.J.
Alfred Fulton, 41, of Niagara Falls had pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree burglary in 2003 and was sentenced to probation. He was charged Monday night with violating probation by committing another crime in Niagara Falls.
Also charged with violating probation for allegedly committing another crime were Joshua Smeal, 22, of Troy Avenue, Niagara Falls, who was convicted of third-degree burglary in 2002 and sentenced to probation, and Donald McKee, 21, of B Street, Niagara Falls, who was convicted in 2004 of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to probation. McKee was also charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated.
