WOMAN FACES CHARGES AFTER RESTAURANT INCIDENT

A city woman faces felony and misdemeanor charges after an incident in the Denny's Restaurant on South Transit Road early Saturday, Niagara County sheriff's deputies said.

Tonya M. Tedesco of Oliver Street caused a disturbance inside the restaurant about 3:30 a.m. and was twice asked to leave, deputies said, but she refused to do so and repeatedly yelled obscenities.

After being escorted out and placed under arrest for alleged disorderly conduct, Tedesco resisted officers and then tried to kick the windows out of a patrol car, causing her to be sprayed with Mace, according to police reports. That led police to file additional charges of third-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest against her.
