OLAF FUB SEZ: According to Albert Einstein (1879-1955), "Imagination is more important than knowledge." (Thought the reader would get a big bang out of that one). . . .

ON THIS DAY -- In 1775, Paul Revere began his famous ride from Charlestown to Lexington, Mass., warning American colonists that the British were coming. . . . In 1906, a devastating earthquake struck San Francisco and was followed by raging fires. About 700 people died. . . . In 1945, famed American war correspondent Ernie Pyle, 44, was killed by Japanese gunfire on the Pacific island of Ie Shima, off Okinawa. . . . In 1955, physicist Albert Einstein died in Princeton, N.J. He was 76. . . . In 1956, actress Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier of Monaco in a civil ceremony. They had a church wedding the next day. . . .

White clouds lazily reclining

in the softness of a sky of blue.

Warm sunshine basking our bodies

as we stroll the avenue.

Soft pastels grace the gardens that abound,

as the birds chirp their delightful sound.

The green grass will soon be in sight

as the days grow longer and stay so bright.

We experience a delicious feeling

as the thought of spring engulfs our very being.
