GENESEE CHAMBER LAUDS BUSINESSES, INDIVIDUALS

Seven businesses and individuals were honored Saturday at the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce's 33rd annual awards dinner held at Batavia Downs.

About 400 attended the event that named Terry Hills Golf Course and Restaurant "Business of the Year," Bonn Branton Farms of Le Roy as "Agricultural Business" and the Business and Employment Training Center at Genesee Community College as "Innovative Enterprise." The Genesee County Farm Bureau received special recognition.

Named Geneseeans-of-the-Year were Patti A. Pacino, coordinator of Batavia High School's Career Center; Dr. Paul Phillips, a Batavia veterinarian; and former City Council President George A. Spinnegan.
