BLAME CORPORATE SOCIALISM, NOT UNION WORKERS, FOR THIS MESS

I'm tired of the labor-bashing in this paper. The county and state budgets are a mess because of corporate socialism, not because of unionized workers. Government revenue is decreased by corporate tax cuts and expenses are increased through subsidies.

We don't gain jobs because corporations are exploiting overseas labor for as little as a dollar a day. U.S. workers pay for this through concessions, layoffs, higher taxes, fees, fines and tolls.

The elderly, disabled and poor subsidize the Wall Street elite through cuts in their needed services. This is straight out of Republican strategist Grover Norquist's playbook. Cut government revenue, creating a crisis, then eliminate services and jobs. We're going right back to the gilded age.

Let's bring fiscal sanity back to government. Let's bring back common-sense liberalism and end corporatism. Hold corporations to the same accounting standards as unions and stop corporate socialism.
