RED SOX NATION DEMONSTRATES CLASS

Regarding the Yankee fan who wrote in last week's paper about the "alleged" doom in Beantown:

He claims he was surprised he was not hassled by Sox fans when he visited Boston. I guess this Yankees fan knows nothing about Red Sox Nation. Red Sox fans endure and, for the most part, show class. Unlike their counterparts in New York (remember Game Six of the ALCS when the NYPD was lined up along the first- and third-base lines?). Or how about them booing their star players, Jeter and Rivera?

Although the Yanks with their unlimited resources can have any player they want, they have yet to win a World Series in the 21st century. As shown by their opening day celebration, Red Sox owners are first class and so are the members of Red Sox Nation.
