Applications are now available for the 2005 Summer Institute sponsored by the Western New York Writing Project.
Teachers in all subject areas, state-certified education professionals and other professionals who want to improve their writing are invited to apply for the program.
The Summer Institute will run from July 5-29. Participants receive a stipend of $800.
During the session, participants will share classroom lesson ideas, take part in demonstration lessons, and meet in groups to improve their creative writing.

The Western New York Writing Project is one of more than 175 affiliate sites of the National Writing Project. More than 300 people have participated in the local program.
