Mary O. Hellman, 85, a former licensed practical nurse, died Tuesday in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness.
She was born Mary Benjamin in Niagara Falls, where she graduated from Trott Vocational High School.
Mrs. Hellman worked for Drs. Richard Wills and Casmer Leone, and at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and St. Mary's Hospital.
She was a longtime member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara J. Stayner of Lewiston and Olwynne "Ginger" Huffman of Lockport; a son, William P. Mann of Sanborn; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held today in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Niagara Falls. Burial was in St. Stephen's Columbarium.
