Zahra Zayn, of Buffalo, a homemaker, died Monday in the Episcopal Church Home after a long illness. She was 90.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, the former Naomi Green attended schools there. The mother of two, she moved to Buffalo with her family in 1957.
She was an honorary member of the Buffalo Chapter of the International League of Muslim Women.
Her husband, Ahmed, died in 1992.
Surviving are three special friends and caregivers, Margaret Sabir-Gillette, Frankie Miles and Amatullah Askia Taaliba, all of Buffalo; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Thomas T. Edwards Funeral Home, 995 Genesee St. Burial will be in Ridge Lawn Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
