The county Senior Services Department is offering a series of programs to help caregivers take better care of themselves.
"Powerful Tools for Caregivers" focuses on reducing stress, improving self-confidence, making difficult decisions, communicating feelings and finding assistance.
The 2 1/2 -hour classes meet once a week for six weeks. They will begin May 2 in Orchard Glen, 6055 Armor Road, Orchard Park; May 3 in Elderwood Village at Westwood, 580 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca; June 21 in Gilda's Club of Western New York, 1140 Delaware Ave., and Oct. 11 in Hamburg Middle School, 360 Division St., Hamburg.
