The annual Chrysalis dinner and auction to benefit Mount St. Mary Academy will be held Saturday in the school.

"Bella Sera," or beautiful evening, is the theme of the fund-raiser, which will begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 p.m. and will feature silent and live auctions.

Donald and Beth Volk McMahon are chairmen for the alumnae division. Frank and Terri LoBrutto are the parent chairmen.

Items that will be up for bid in the live auction include condo vacations in South Carolina, a private reception and tour of the Darwin Martin House, and "night on the town" excursions.

Proceeds will benefit student programs. The annual Crysalis party is the academy's major fund-raising project, said Robert Herzog, president of the board of trustees.

Tickets are $100 and can be reserved by calling the academy at 877-1358, Ext. 307.
