Betty Sue Delaney of Buffalo, who worked as a cook, died Sunday in Delaware Heights Nursing Facility after a brief illness. She was 51.
Born in LaGrange, Ga., she attended school there and had worked as a cook for 21 years before falling ill. She moved to Buffalo last October.
Survivors include two daughters, Zandra Hill and Shantere, both of Buffalo; three sons, Tommy, Brian and Robert, all of LaGrange; her mother, Mildred Murphy; two sisters, Teresa Tyson and Brenda Gigi; and a brother, Eric Murphy, all of Buffalo; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were held today in Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 179 E. Ferry St.
