ALMA MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO BURGLARY ATTEMPT

Wayne G. Irvin, 27, of Alma pleaded guilty in Allegany County Court Tuesday to a reduced charge of third-degree attempted burglary.

He had been charged with third-degree burglary, accused of breaking into a building in Richburg and stealing money in September or October.

District Attorney Terrence M. Parker said Judge Thomas P. Brown accepted the plea but did not schedule Irvin's sentencing date.
