SCHOOL FUNDING IS TOPIC OF FORUM AT CITY HALL

A public forum on proposed legislation that would dramatically alter state funding for public schools will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday on the 13th floor of Buffalo's City Hall.

Participants in Thursday's session are: Michael Rebell, executive director of the Campaign for Fiscal Equity; Yvonne Hargrave, interim superintendent of the Buffalo Public Schools; Antoine M. Thompson, Common Council member, Masten District; Paul G. Hashem, Lackawanna school superintendent; Thomas J. Markle, Lancaster school superintendent; and Steven A. Achramovitch, Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda school superintendent.
