Mary R. Tantillo, who worked for Bell Aircraft Co. in Wheatfield during World War II and for Warder Paper Box, died Monday in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 88.
The former Mary Pulastro was a lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, where she attended local schools.
Mrs. Tantillo worked in production for Bell from 1942 to 1945, and in production for Warder for 20 years, retiring in the mid-1970s.
She was a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America, Niagara Falls.
She married Sam Tantillo in 1949. He died in 1992.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1919 11th St., with prayers at 9:30 in M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Town of Niagara. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
