ACTIVISTS WILL DISCUSS 'LIVING HISTORY' THEME

Three local civil rights activists will have a panel discussion Wednesday at Housing Opportunities Made Equal's 42nd annual meeting and dinner.

With the theme of "Living History . . . No One Simply Passes Through," the event begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Buffalo Convention Center. Call Shannon Koehn at 854-1400 for ticket information.

Elizabeth G. Clark, a lawyer for Hogdson Russ, will receive this year's James Crawford Award for outstanding service to HOME. High school seniors Anthony White of Williamsville North and Jessica Kroecker of Holland Central, will receive Joanne Champion Granger scholarship awards in recognition of academic achievement and commitment to human rights.
