REGION'S PUBLIC GOLF COURSES SHOULD ADOPT UNIFORM FEE FOR ALL

Is this an injustice or discrimination? A few county lawmakers had the right idea, as was stated in The News. Olmsted Conservancy charges non-Buffalo residents $285 for a seven-day pass at any of the city's three golf courses, while a Buffalo resident is charged $160. The Buffalo resident pays $80 for a five-day senior pass, while a county senior pays $235 for the five-day pass.

That's a big difference. Wouldn't it be more sporting to have a uniform fee of $250 for all adult golfers? How would a Buffalonian feel if he had to pay a double fee to play at Grover Cleveland and Elma Meadows?
