MAN STABBED REPEATEDLY AFTER FOILING ROBBER

A Seventh Street man was stabbed several times Saturday night after he refused a robber's demands for his car keys and money, police said.

The victim was treated in Buffalo General Hospital for what were described as minor stab wounds to his legs and right arm. He was later released.

Central District police said the victim was in his car parked in front of his house at about 10:30 p.m. when he was confronted by a man dressed all in black.

Police said a fight ensued, but the assailant fled empty-handed.
