2 WOMEN FIND THEY ARE VICTIMS OF IDENTITY THEFT

Two Niagara County women learned this weekend that someone had used their Social Security numbers to open credit card and other accounts.

A Middleport woman contacted police Saturday when she tried to open an account at a Lockport credit union and was told her Social Security number already was being used by someone else.

Earlier, a North Tonawanda woman trying to open a credit account at the new Kohl's store in Amherst was told that the store already had issued a credit card to that Social Security number in New York City.
