Thomas C. Graff, a retired traffic manager at Archer Daniels Whitney Seed in Buffalo, died March 17 in Mercy Hospital in Buffalo after a brief illness. He was 87.
Born in Buffalo, Graff was a graduate of Hutchinson-Central High School and spent most of his life in Western New York. He also served as a yeoman second class in the U.S. Navy during World War II, seeing action at Iwo Jima, Okinawa and Tokyo Bay while serving aboard the USS Housatonic.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helen Meredith, and a son, Thomas, both of West Seneca; and a grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday in St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2950 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna.
