Grand Illusion

Director Jean Renoir -- son of Auguste the painter -- brings his father's artistic eye to this brilliant 1937 drama about French officers held prisoner by the Germans during World War I. Erich von Stroheim gives a career-making performance as the camp's commandant. The title refers to the old social order of Europe, which was dealt its death blow by the war. This was the first foreign-language film to be nominated for a best picture Oscar. 4027239

Tragedy hits the CSI team when an attempted bank robbery turns into a shooting spree in the streets of Las Vegas in "Inside the Box."
