TELETHON: The 18th annual Kids Escaping Drugs telethon will be televised from 4 to 11 p.m. today on WGRZ-TV, Channel 2. The telethon will be broadcast live from the Renaissance Campus in West Seneca, and proceeds will benefit the facility.
SPLASH: The Southtowns Family YMCA is conducting its annual YSPLASH program to introduce non-swimmers to the water. The free program, which is open to the community, will run in the late afternoon Monday through April 15. Participants will be divided into preschool or school age groups, and will receive basic swim instruction, water safety skills and YMCA character development.
