PUBLIC MEETINGS IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES THIS WEEK

Amherst

Amherst Town Board members will meet in a special session Monday at 3:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 5583 Main St., Williamsville, to consider approving a $2.4 million bond to purchase highway equipment.

Also this week:
Sweet Home School Board will hold a combined study session and voting meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Norman C. Vergils Community Center at the high school, 1901 Sweet Home Road. The board will vote on adopting a 2005-06 district budget.
Williamsville Village Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Village Hall, 5565 Main St.
East Aurora Village Board will hold a public hearing on its budget proposal at 6 p.m. Monday, followed by a board work session at 6:30 p.m. The board meets in Village Hall, Main and Paine streets.

Aurora Town Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday in regular session in Town Hall, 5 S. Grove St.
The Planning Board will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall, 8500 Boston State Road.

The Sewer Authority is expected to approve a budget that would increase sewer bills nearly 23 percent this summer when it meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Room 1038 of City Hall.

The Water Board will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Room 502 of City Hall.

The Town Board will conduct a work session at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the council office conference room in Town Hall, 3301 Broadway and Union Road.

The Maryvale School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Samuel R. Bennett Administration Building, 1050 Maryvale Drive.
The Sloan Village Board will hold its reorganization meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Sloan Fire Hall, 55 Gates St. A regular board meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
The Cheektowaga Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the board room in the high school at 3600 Union Road.
The Planning Board will meet at 7:30 p.m Thursday in the council chambers in Town Hall.
Clarence Assessor David Folger discusses the town's recent revaluation at the Clarence Town Board meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Town Hall, One Town Place. The meeting is preceded by a 6 p.m. work session.

Clarence Schools Superintendent Thomas G. Coseo meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday with the Town Board to discuss the school district's record $35.8 million building project for the middle and high schools. The work session, in Town Hall, One Town Place, is open to the public.
The Planning Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Town Hall, One Town Place. The Eden Town Board will hold a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Town Hall, 2795 E. Church St.

The Frontier Central School Board will adopt a budget at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Middle School, 2751 Amsdell Road.

The Lancaster School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the district office, 177 Central Ave.

The Village Board will meet Monday at 8 p.m. in the Municipal Center, 4295 South Buffalo St.

The School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss the 2005-06 budget year in the administration building, 202 Broad St., with a regular meeting at 7 p.m.

The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School Board will meet at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Philip Sheridan building, 3200 Elmwood Ave.
