INNOCENT PLEA ENTERED IN DRUG-POSSESSION CASE

A Pekin woman pleaded not guilty Friday in Niagara County Court to charges of possessing 1.18 pounds of marijuana and some other illegal drugs Sept. 17.

Samantha Drury, 29, of Upper Mountain Road, was arrested Nov. 9, then indicted on charges of second-degree marijuana possession and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance -- hydrocodone and diazepam.

In another case Friday, John B. Zbieszkowski, 34, of Falconer Street, North Tonawanda, pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated. Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza set sentencing for June 3. Zbieszkowski was arrested Nov. 14 in North Tonawanda.
