House Majority Leader Tom DeLay complained about "an arrogant, out-of-control judiciary that thumbed their nose at Congress and the president."
The Constitution is under attack by the religious right, conservatives and Washington. The founders of the United States understood that there must be real separation of powers between the branches of government. Vocal segments of the population and some state and federal elected officials have forgotten or choose to ignore the things that have made America great and free.
Elected members of government represent all constituents. Many congressmen have ignored this, not just the vociferous. DeLay and Sen. Rick Santorum need to brush up on History 101.
