GARDEN NOTES/NEWS FROM AREA CLUBS

The East Aurora Garden Club will meet at noon Monday at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 374 Main St., East Aurora. After lunch, Mary Lou Chamberlain will present a floral demonstration, "Everything Old is New Again."
Dorothy Julius, co-owner of Along Garden's Path, will speak at the Kenmore Garden Club at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore. The topic is using fresh and dried plant material to decorate your home for spring.
The Ken-Sheriton Garden Club will install new officers at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan's Restaurant, Kenmore. Plans for the upcoming plant sale will be discussed.
The Evans Garden Club will hold its annual installation dinner Tuesday at JP's Pub, 1986 Lakeview Road, Lakeview. Cocktails at 6 p.m.; dinner at 7 p.m. For information and reservations, call 549-0155.
The Countryside Garden Club of Elma will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the home of Barbara Plezia on Chairfactory Road. A living wreath demonstration by Rita Ippolito will be followed by a workshop on making a succulent dish garden.
The Amana Garden Club of West Seneca will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Covenant United Methodist Church, 539 Main St., West Seneca. Alice Pacer and Mary Ann Kraus are hostesses. Marie Pawlik and Cathy Roeder will make table arrangements. Each member will bring flowering bulbs to be displayed.
The Hamburg Garden Club's 81st installation luncheon will be held at noon Wednesday at Romanello's Restaurant South, 5793 South Park Ave., Hamburg. Flower Show Award Winning Members Marie Moscato and Dorothy Mortek will present "Elegance in Entertaining."
Youngstown Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, Youngstown. Susan Loughran, National Garden Club accredited judge, will present "Small and Miniature Floral Design."
The Western New York Herb Study Group will hold a silent auction Wednesday at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. Doors open at 7 p.m.
The Lancaster Garden Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Elks Club, 33 Legion Parkway, Lancaster. New members welcome.
The Town & Country Garden Club will hold its 45th anniversary celebration and installation dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday at Hirsch's Restaurant, 8445 Main St., Williamsville.
