DRUGSTORE ROBBED BY MAN WITH KNIFE

A Grant Street pharmacy was held up at knifepoint Wednesday evening when a man followed a store manager into his office and then demanded he open the safe, Buffalo police reported.

The manager for Rite Aid pharmacy at 142 Grant St. told police the man held a knife to his throat during the 6:30 p.m. robbery.

The robber fled with an undetermined sum of cash. He was wearing a navy blue, long sleeve rugby shirt with a white collar and a white stripe across the middle.
