A Buffalo man was treated in the hospital Tuesday after he was beaten in the head with a crowbar, police said.
Willie Morrison Jr., of West Avenue, was given about 18 staples in his head to close the wound. He was treated in the emergency room of Erie County Medical Center and released.
Northwest District police said Morrison was attacked at about 9 a.m. by a man who came out of his mother's house in the 100 block of Hampshire Street. He had gone there to pick up his 6-year-old son's book bag.
No arrest has been made.
