Lackawanna police have arrested a 16-year-old youth accused of raping a 19-year-old West Seneca woman, who also was allegedly sodomized by as many as eight teenagers March 26.

Lt. Joseph Leo and Detective Daniel Cardi charged Kenneth L. McCutcheon, of Olin Lane, with rape, criminal sexual activity, unlawful imprisonment, intimidating a witness and harassment, police said.

After the group sodomy incident, McCutcheon was accused of taking the woman into another room and attacking her, while the other teens blocked two of the woman's friends from coming to her aid, authorities said.

Detectives said they also know the identities of five other teens believed involved in the attack.

"Charges are pending against five additional suspects, ranging in age from 14 to 17," Capt. Ronald Miller, Lackawanna's chief of detectives, said Tuesday.
