LONGTIME MAYOR, OTHERS ELECTED AT TOWN MEETING

Richard L. Sharlau, the village's mayor for the past 20 years, won another one-year term Monday during a traditional town meeting -- Genesee County's only village conducting such a gathering.

During the meeting, attended by 13 residents, William Wagner won another two-year term as trustee, and longtime clerk/treasurer Vera Antonucci was re-elected, both without opposition.

The officials were elected by voice vote. The county's five other village's conduct elections in March.
