Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a fire Sunday night that caused $50,000 damage at an East Delavan Avenue store with a rear apartment.
Fire officials said one firefighter had a lower back injury, while the other had a right hand injury, but both remained on duty.
Authorities said the fire erupted at about 11:30 a.m. at 912 E. Delavan. Damage was estimated at $20,000 to the building and $30,000 to the contents.
Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause.
