The 10th annual Mother-Daughter Tea sponsored by Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site volunteers will take place April 23 and April 24 in the historic site on Delaware Avenue.
The Victorian era event for mothers, daughters, friends and relatives will feature a variety of tea sandwiches, scones and sweet treats. Little girls attending can make ribbon and floral spring bonnets and the site's Costume Resource Center will present a "Sportswomen and Their Spectators" fashion revue highlighting sportswear trends from 1860 to 1960.
Admission is $18 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. Reservations are necessary and may be made by calling the site at 884-0095.
