GUILTY PLEA ENTERED ON DRUG-SELLING CHARGE

Michael L. Williams, 37, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty in Niagara County Court Thursday to possessing 1.6 grams of cocaine with the intention of selling it here Oct. 21.

Williams is to be sentenced for a reduced charge of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance June 2 by Judge Peter L. Broderick Sr.

Meanwhile, a Wheatfield man who is undergoing drug counseling was placed on six months' interim probation by Broderick, pending a further sentencing decision.

Michael V. D'Avolio, 47, of Balla Drive, had pleaded guilty to robbing the D&K Store on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Niagara Falls on April 2, 2004, and setting a pickup truck on fire in February 2002.
