Two men picketing outside Eastman Machine Co., 779 Washington St., on Thursday were struck by a truck that fled the scene, Buffalo police said.
Police said the men told them they were blocking the path of a delivery truck and overheard the driver threaten to run them over because he had "a job to do."
The driver then drove through the parking lot and struck the pickets before driving south on Ellicott Street. The pickets suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment, police said.
It was not the first incident at the company. Last week, police were called there after pickets refused to allow vehicles to pass. Workers began picketing the plant March 12 after expiration of a deadline for progress toward a new agreement.
Eastman manufactures fabric-cutting machines used in apparel, automotive, sporting goods and other industries. It employs about 135 people.
