Food and merchandising vendor applications are now available for the 10th Taste of Lewiston scheduled June 26 on Center Street in Lewiston. The Taste of Lewiston is a culinary arts festival featuring food, local wines, a beer garden, gourmet and heart healthy cooking demonstrations, ice-carving, all-day entertainment and more. Audition
The Lancaster Opera House will hold auditions for Ameri*Kids, a new Western New York Show Choir for teens ages 14 to 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. April 12 and 13. Callbacks will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 16. The audition requires 12 measures of a song that showcases the auditioner's talent and a brief group movement audition that a choreographer will lead. Ameri*Kids will launch their premiere performances of "Fairy Tales Can Come True" Aug. 9 through 21 at the Erie County Fair. To make an appointment, call the Lancaster Opera House at 683-1776.

Calls for works
The fifth annual Elmwood Festival of the Arts is seeking artists and craftspeople to apply to its juried 2005 Artist's Market. Application deadline is April 16. Performers in dance, music, theater and other arts are also sought for entertainment on its four stages. Deadline for performer applications is July 15. The festival takes place Aug. 27 and 28.
