Hunters are being asked to keep an eye out for a missing dog as they look for deer in Allegany County.
Shellie, a 10 1/2 -year-old sheltie, has been missing from the Seeley property on Route 244, outside the Town of Amity, since Nov. 23. The dog, which looks like a miniature collie, is black and white with very little brown and has failing back hips.
The dog was wearing a green collar, with rabies and license tags, when she pushed through her kennel door and disappeared. The Seeley family is urging hunters to contact them if they see or find Shellie.
