BURGLARY IS THE SIXTH AT A HOME SITE IN MONTH

Erie County sheriff's investigators are looking into the sixth burglary in November at a home under construction. This one occurred in Alden on Monday, deputies said.

Thieves entered a residence under construction at 2747 Crittenden Road and stole a generator, air compressor and several power tools, police said.

Sheriff's detectives are continuing investigations into similar burglaries in Elma, Colden, Holland and Clarence.

Sheriff Patrick Gallivan cautioned area home builders and contractors against leaving valuable tools and equipment overnight at construction sites.
