Beverly R. Murray, a former nurse's aide, died Saturday in her home after a lengthy illness, during which she received the care of Niagara Hospice. She was 61.
Born Beverly Myers in Niagara Falls, she was raised in the Ransomville area and attended schools in the Youngstown area.
From 1960 to 1976, Mrs. Murray worked as a nurse's aide at Ransomville General Hospital and later at Mount View Health Facility, Lockport, and Fairchild Manor Nursing Home, Lewiston.
She was a member of Chapter 73, Order of the Eastern Star, Lockport.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Lloyd E.; a daughter, Tina Castile of Ransomville; two stepsons, Duane Reynolds and Edward Reynolds, both of Merritt Island, Fla.; a brother, Dale Myers Jr. of Ransomville; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
