SALES TAX RALLY: A "Share the Sales Tax with the City" rally will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday on the steps of the Rath County Office Building, 95 Franklin St. The rally is sponsored by Buffalo residents and elected officials who are pushing for any revenue from any increase in the county sales tax to be shared with city government.
OPEN HOUSE: The University at Buffalo Educational Opportunity Center will host an open house to showcase its tuition-free adult education and job training programs from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, at the center, 465 Washington St., Buffalo. Free and open to the public.
HOLIDAY HAPPENING: A family-planned "Holiday Happenings" for all ages, 3:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the Amherst Center for Senior Services, 370 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst.
